The Lodge, the pool and the people down the street.
The Lodge, the pool, the pickleball court and the fitness room come with the $650 site rent.

The Lodge
A timber-frame lodge at the front of the community, with a vaulted wood ceiling and a fieldstone fireplace that runs to the peak. There are leather chairs by the fire, a TV corner and big windows on the pool side. It works for morning coffee, a game night or a quiet place to read that isn’t your own kitchen table.

Event hall and kitchen
The hall seats a long-table dinner for a crowd, which is the whole point: Thanksgiving for twenty doesn’t have to happen in your living room. The community kitchen next to it has a big island, a wall oven, a full-size fridge and real counter space.

Fitness room
Treadmills, bikes and free weights in a bright room with windows on two sides. It’s open year round, which matters here from November to April.
Digitally enhancedOutdoor pool
A big outdoor pool with a sun shelf, lounge chairs and a fenced deck right off the Lodge. It’s a summer amenity in northern Michigan, so it opens for the season and the cover goes on in the fall.

Pickleball court
A fenced, lined pickleball court between the pool and the meadow. Bring a paddle.

Grounds, paths and mail
Wide streets, a covered mailbox pavilion so you aren’t digging for mail in a snowbank, and walking paths through the community. A new walking path is scheduled to go in on November 1, 2026.
The community side, and your side.
Alta Vista handles
The Lodge, pool, pickleball court, fitness room and common grounds. Upkeep of the common areas.
You handle
Your home, inside and out, and its insurance. Mowing your lawn and clearing your driveway, or you can pay the community’s contractor to do it. Your own utilities.
From our October 14, 2026 meeting with Alta Vista management. The covenants and the homesite lease control if anything here differs. See community documents.
Come use the Lodge for an hour.
Tour a home, then sit by the fireplace and ask us everything. We bring the lease, the covenants and the numbers.
